A dried poblano pepper meaning 'wide chilli', nearly black in colour with a mild, smokey, sweet and fruity flavour. We use this in our Mild and Hot Chilli Mixes and our Sweet & Smokey BBQ Rub.
Widely used in Mexican dishes such as Tamales but can be used in any dish where a gentle smokey heat is required.
Ingredients: Ancho chillies.
